‘SYMBOLIC INTERACTIONISM AND CREATIVE PROCESSES IN TURBULENT TIMES’

The annual conference of EUSSSI will take place from the 14th to the 16th of July 2025 in Warsaw. Fifteen years after the inaugural EUSSSI Conference in Pisa, it will provide another excellent opportunity to connect with leading scholars in Symbolic Interaction and Grounded Theory from Europe, America, and across the globe. The theme “symbolic interactionism and creative processes in turbulent times” touches on the central focus of the event.

Institute of Sociology (Sociology of Culture Department) at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, will host the conference. The event is co-organized by the Section of Qualitative Sociology and Symbolic Interactionism of the Polish Sociological Association. The Polish Sociological Association, which brings together and represents the Polish sociology community, is providing patronage for the event.
